Collaborating closely with low6Deva, I undertook the challenge of developing a brand-new app catering to all its members. The task at hand was to present extensive information to users while ensuring utmost clarity. Working in tandem with another skilled UI/UX designer, we embarked on a comprehensive journey, commencing with Information Architecture (IA). This stage was pivotal in determining the precise content required on each screen.
Transitioning into the realm of User Experience (UX), I delved into diverse design explorations. This process allowed me to grasp how to effectively showcase information on every screen. Through this endeavor, I honed the discernment of when to employ icons and when to opt for textual elements.
The Home Screen emerged as a crucial anchor, intended to be accessible from any point within the app. This space was crafted to provide users with a secure reference point, housing all essential information seamlessly.
Seamless navigation played a paramount role in maintaining user engagement and focus. One flawed or poorly executed link had the potential to disrupt the entire user experience. This insight drove the significance of implementing impeccable navigation.
For the members' domain, Deva aspired to offer enhanced experiences. The introduction of the Members Area addressed this aspiration. Here, members could access comprehensive details about their invested horses, including forthcoming race entries and images capturing the horses on race day or during training.
Undoubtedly, this project enriched my expertise as I collaborated closely with developers and senior members of the Deva Racing team. Their primary objective was to foster a sense of uniqueness among their members. Guiding meetings and spearheading discussions bolstered my confidence in articulating UI/UX principles.
In retrospect, this project not only facilitated my professional growth but also reinforced the significance of collaboration, user-centric design, and effective communication in creating impactful digital experiences.
