Embarking on this remarkable endeavour was a privilege, offering us an unparalleled opportunity to take the reins of design ownership. Our initial steps were guided by the creation of mood boards, channelling inspiration towards an exploration of esteemed partnerships like Visa and FIFA. We scrutinised the triumphs of past World Cup apps, seeking insights that would shape our creative path.

Sketching the Possibilities: Crafting Interaction

The next stage ushered in a realm of creativity as I sketched out concepts. My focus was on crafting an interactive feature or game that would resonate with every attendee of the World Cup. The thought of a Quiz struck me, and I translated this idea into sketches featuring a football pitch with strategically positioned circles for questions on screens.

Refinement through Testing and Iteration: A Journey of Evolution

Refinement was paramount. Transitioning from sketches, we transitioned to producing low to mid-fidelity wireframes on Figma. Our objective crystallised into an interactive quiz that would captivate World Cup attendees. Diverse screens emerged, complete with augmented reality (AR) capabilities. This innovation allowed users to uncover treasure chests, unlocking extra lives and enhancing engagement.
